Hayward Hawk are partnering with a fast-scaling technology business that is building a market-leading optimisation platform. Theyre looking for a Product Owner to take ownership of the platforms decision-making intelligence. This is a hands-on, strategic role where youll define what gets built, why it matters, and how it delivers measurable commercial impact. Youll work with data science and engineering teams to shape predictive models, while influencing multiple business functions to maximise value and performance outcomes. The Opportunity Reporting to senior product leadership, you will own the Optimisation product line end-to-end. Youll define what gets built, why it matters, and how it delivers measurable value balancing technical capability with commercial outcomes. Working closely with data science and engineering teams, youll shape how predictive models and optimisation algorithms evolve. At the same time, youll partner with Commercial, Trading, Sales, and Operations stakeholders to ensure the roadmap reflects real-world revenue impact. What Youll Be Doing Product Strategy & Vision Define and maintain a clear optimisation roadmap aligned to growth targets Prioritise features based on commercial impact and technical feasibility Build business cases for new initiatives grounded in measurable value Act as the internal expert on optimisation capability and market positioning Execution & Delivery Translate complex commercial and technical requirements into clear user stories Operate as Product Owner within an agile delivery environment Provide clarity and direction as engineering and data teams break work into delivery increments Stakeholder Leadership Act as the bridge between technical optimisation teams and commercial functions Influence prioritisation decisions across functions without direct authority What Were Looking For 3 years experience in Product Manager, Product Owner, or similar roles Experience working alongside data science, machine learning, or quantitative engineering teams Strong understanding of SDLC and agile delivery models Technical fluency with the ability to challenge and shape algorithmic solutions Comfortable operating in ambiguity within a rapidly evolving market Desirable: STEM background Certified Product Owner (or equivalent) Familiarity with Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar tools Track record of shipping commercially impactful features Whats On Offer Competitive salary Up to (£60,000) Pension Private medical Life assurance Paid sick leave Additional leave options Hybrid working model (minimum 3 days onsite in Belfast) This is an opportunity with a one of a kind product that you'll want to get involved in, CLICK APPLY NOW to find out more info or contact Aaron Pyper at Hayward Hawk.
