Role Overview This role will be accountable for the rollout, training and establishment of a combined ILG/GFS Ways of Working. This includes the set up and configuration of our Atlassian platform. This role will support the delivery of product initiatives across the Product Management Team to improve delivery effectiveness. Additionally, this role will be responsible for the capture, prioritisation and implementation (either directly or via associated Engineering backlogs) of Automation and Information Security opportunities across the business. This role is intended to have a clear development pathway toward a full Product Management position within the company. Key Responsibilities Product Delivery & Enablement Support the delivery of initiatives within the Product Management team as required, providing “surge” capacity for any analysis needs within a team. Translate business and operational needs into clear requirements and backlog items, and capture any opportunities for business automation. Act as the facilitator for our Product Management ceremonies throughout the year (eg. Product Review, Strategic Planning and Reporting requirements. Ways of Working & Tooling Roll-out and establish the Atlassian platform across ILG/GFS as our chosen Ways of Working tooling Partner with each functional area to transition them to utilise Atlassian in their best interest while maintaining the necessary standardisation required for reporting/strategic planning Establish a knowledge base and training program for both existing and new staff to understand the ILG/GFS Ways of Working and the tooling provided Platform Integrations & Reporting Deliver necessary integrations between the Atlassian platform and supporting tools (eg. GitHub, DataDog, Slack, Teams) to ensure the streamlining of operational information Deliver essential business reporting dashboards/reports to support critical business processes (eg. Capitalisation, R&D credit candidacy, delivery metrics and ROI) Deliver a consolidated view to capture and report on application health metrics, cloud cost optimisation and other associated technology costs (eg. Licencing) to ensure an optimal cost base for operations Information Security & Automation Monitor, capture and prioritise necessary work to ensure continued compliance with Information Security standards (e.g. Security Vulnerabilities, Patching) Collaborate with the CTO, Engineering Manager and SRE to support the implementation of secure-by-design practices across our product development practices, supporting PMs to make good security choices Keep up to date with the evolving capabilities of our tools and services to identify, capture and plan adoption of automation/feature opportunities to get the most out of our tools (eg. Atlassian Feedback) Knowledge Management Establish a common knowledge management practice across ILG/GFS Train/educate the workforce on the adoption of this practice and the tools available to support the capture of latent information within teams (e.g. Confluence, Scribe) Promote good documentation and information sharing practices, including how this can be applied outside of Technology to other functions (e.g. HR, Finance, Marketing, Operations) Experience Required Degree-level education in Computer Science, Cybersecurity (or similar) or equivalent experience in a relevant field Strong understanding and previous experience in Product Management practices and techniques Strong knowledge of pragmatic information security practices Clear ability as a strong communicator, influencer and analytical skills Success Measures Product Delivery & Enablement Product initiatives run smoothly with clear supporting metrics Product Development ceremonies run smoothly, consistently and with measurable value/purpose Ways of Working & Tooling Atlassian successfully adopted as the Ways of Working platform across ILG/GFS Teams operate within a consistent framework while maintaining their ability to self-determine their approach at the ground level Platform Integrations & Reporting Key tooling integrations are in place, improving visibility and flow of operational information Consistent and reliable reporting is in place for Capitalisation, R&D Credits, Delivery Metrics and Cost Tracking/Optimisation Information Security & Enablement Information Security obligations are tracked, prioritised and met in accordance with CTO direction Secure-by-design practices are embedded in the solution design of all new products Knowledge Management A common knowledge management approach implemented across ILG/GFS
