Role overview:
We are expanding our Sales team and seeking a Senior Client Development Director to lead new business initiatives and grow existing accounts within The Collective. Reporting to the Vice President of Sales Solutions UK, you will be part of the Leadership Team, with line management responsibilities. Your primary focus will be developing and executing sales and growth strategies.
Key responsibilities:
* Own the strategic vision for new business and existing account growth, translating revenue targets into actionable strategies.
* Lead and mentor team members, fostering development and collaboration.
* Prepare and present quarterly strategy updates.
* Manage proposals, tenders, RFPs, including delivering presentations and creating case studies.
* Stay informed about industry trends and innovations.
* Ensure proposals provide value and profitability for BCD Meetings & Events.
* Implement targeted business development plans, including industry engagement and awards.
* Drive a sales culture with clear growth objectives across the team.
* Secure new experiential events business through a proactive sales process.
* Collaborate with marketing to develop client engagement campaigns and social media content.
