Role Overview:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Teacher of Geography to join a dynamic secondary school in Luton. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate educator to inspire students and deliver engaging lessons that bring the subject to life.
As a Teacher of Geography, you will:
* Teach Geography across KS3 and KS4, ensuring lessons are creative and challenging.
* Plan and deliver high-quality lessons aligned with the national curriculum.
* Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
* Contribute to the development of the Geography curriculum and departmental resources.
* Foster a positive learning environment and encourage student participation in fieldwork and extracurricular activities.
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience teaching Geography in a secondary school.
* Strong subject knowledge and understanding of current educational practices.
* Ability to inspire and motivate students through engaging teaching methods.
* Excellent communication and organisational skills.
* Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
* Ability to drive is preferred; if not, reliable access to public transport is essential.
