A leading provider of neurodevelopmental assessments is expanding their specialist team Berkshire and is looking for experienced clinicians to deliver high-quality ASD and ADHD assessments for children and young people aged 3–18. This is a flexible associate opportunity, with competitive pay per assessment and full support to focus on your clinical work—not admin. Outside IR35 : Paid per assessment (£250–£333), invoiced to your limited company. ? Flexible Schedule : Clinics available 7 days a week. Up to 4 face-to-face assessments per day between 9am and 5pm. ? Admin Support : Dedicated team handles bookings, report formatting and quality control—freeing you to focus on care. ? The Role: Conduct comprehensive developmental histories for autism and ADHD assessments using established methods/tools. Observe and engage with children and adolescents in a compassionate, age-appropriate manner. Review ADOS, developmental history, and collateral information from home and school within the same session. Formulate a diagnosis and provide kind, clear feedback to families, along with recommendations and signposting. Collaborate with MDT colleagues and arrange follow-ups when further information is needed. Produce high-quality diagnostic reports (DSM-5–aligned) within 48 hours—admin support provided. Who We’re Looking For: GMC-registered Paediatrician (CCT in Paediatrics preferred, but not essential). Confident in assessing ASD and/or ADHD in children and adolescents. Up to date with revalidation and appraisal. Able to travel to the Basingstoke clinic for face-to-face work. Committed to delivering child- and family-centred care to the highest standards.
