The Job:Reporting to the Purchasing Manager to support with the day-to-day administrative tasks needed for the smooth running of the Purchasing Department, thus optimizing the procurement process for the organization.
Day to day responsibilities;
* Manage and enter data in MRP system and analyse order requirements
* Use Freq ordering system to make and approve orders and send Purchase Orders
* Respond to ad hoc queries from wider team
* Attend inter-departmental meetings
* Monitor stock levels and identify purchasing needs
* Track orders and ensure timely delivery
* Update internal databases with order details (dates, vendors, quantities, discounts)
* Follow up with suppliers, as needed, to confirm or change orders
* Liaise with warehouse staff to ensure all products arrive in good condition
* Any other duties in line with purchasing requirements
