Hours: Full-time (Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm plus occasional evenings 6.30pm -9pm (usually Monday or Tuesday) when there are clinical meetings Work Location: Remote (to work remotely from your secure home office) We are a growing leading private psychiatry clinic and have an exciting opportunity for an experienced leader to join our team as Practice Manager. You will have excellent interpersonal skills to oversee day to day operations of the clinic, provide organisation leadership and support us in the delivery of high-quality services. The postholder will manage the admin team and support the consultants, monitoring performance and quality assurance. They will deal with HR, information governance, CQC compliance and complaints management. Skills/Experience Required : Minimum 3 years experience in a practice/general management role in healthcare, private mental health clinic or similar NHS mental health service and undergone at least one CQC inspection with a good or outstanding rating Flexible nature with a can-do attitude Ability to improve and implement new ideas and processes HR and team management skills CQC compliance & auditing IT skills The role will include, but is not limited to the following: HR Responsibilities Admin staff rota management Staff recruitment, training, and development HR functions - inductions, appraisals, disciplinary procedures etc Maintain, review and develop all HR documentation Maintain and develop effective staff appraisal and performance monitoring processes, dealing sensitively with disciplinary issues. Lead the workforce planning, recruitment, selection, appraisal, and retention of staff CQC Responsibilities Ensure regulatory and legal compliance Continuing to develop overall compliance with CQC Overall responsibility for CQC compliance & audits Other Responsibilities: Oversee the day-to-day running of the clinic Complaints management - resolving customer complaints in line with procedure SUI reporting and all other relevant CQC requirements Ensure compliance with all aspects of employment legislation and practice policies and procedures Practice Clinical Meetings - preparation of agenda, provision of necessary papers, accurate recording of minutes and processing of actions to completion Chair regular admin staff meetings Learn and maintain knowledge of the various admin roles Work closely alongside the CQC Registered Manager and the Director Take direct instruction/guidance from the CQC Registered Manager and Director of the company Support Admin Manager and cover leave Produce a 5-year business plan, which has vision and focus, implement plan, and make regular improvements
