Working within the Children’s Homes is one of the most rewarding career choices you can make. If you have the drive and dedication, then you will enjoy an exciting and rewarding career with us.

Our Children’s Homes are registered with Ofsted and provide support for children and young people with complex needs, ensuring their individual care plans and needs are met.

The ethos of the service is to provide children with a home-from-home experience and to enhance and promote their life experiences and independence. You’ll also be helping them to prepare for the next stage of their life.

8. Being proactive and innovative to seek new methods to engage.

Personal qualities:

1. Ability to engage and build positive relationships with children and young people.
2. Remaining calm in challenging situations.
3. Able to implement boundaries.
4. Able to adapt and respond quickly.

If you have the above qualities but may not have all the practical skills yet, we will support you through training and development in line with your personal development plan and actively promote succession planning.

This is an enjoyable and rewarding position for someone who is caring and dedicated to making a difference in the lives of children and their families.
