Contract Scotland are looking for an experienced Non-Working Supervisor to join a major infrastructure project in Orkney, supporting a 13km ducting installation leading to a substation. Project Overview The project involves a large-scale ducting installation with works running until the end of April 2026. You will be supplementing an existing site team of supervisors, providing oversight and assurance across safety, quality and environmental compliance. Role & Responsibilities • Non-working supervisory role • Ensure works are undertaken in line with approved RAMS • Issue, control and manage permits to work • Monitor and enforce site safety standards • Check quality and environmental procedures are being followed • Liaise with site teams and management to maintain compliance and progress Shift Pattern & Working Hours • 21 days on / 7 days off • No payment during days off • Travel days paid • Current site hours: – Monday to Friday: 07:00 – 18:00 – Saturday & Sunday: 07:00 – 16:00 Location & Travel • Orkney • Flights provided from Inverness, Aberdeen, Edinburgh or Glasgow (final departure airport to be confirmed based on flight times) • Flights, on-island transport, accommodation and airport parking all covered • Accommodation will be shared housing or flats to a very good standard Start Date & Duration • Start ASAP • Works projected through to end of April 2026 Minimum Requirements • Valid UK driving licence • SMSTS • Additional professional accreditations beneficial but not essential Apply here or send your cv to (url removed) Legal Information: We act as an employment agency for permanent work and as an employment business for temporary work.
