Location: GL7 Area (Cotswolds)
* Salary: £38,000 – £40,000 per annum (DOE)
* Hours: 40 hours per week, 5 days (including occasional Saturdays with a weekday off in lieu)
We are seeking an experienced and reliable live-out Housekeeper to support a busy family in their 6-bedroom home in the GL7 area. This is a varied role requiring a high standard of housekeeping, organisation, and flexibility. The successful candidate will ensure the home is maintained to an immaculate standard, assist with occasional meal preparation, support family routines, and provide ad hoc assistance with pets and errands.
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintain the household to a high standard of cleanliness and presentation, including all rooms, bathrooms, and communal areas
* Undertake laundry, ironing, wardrobe management, and linen care
* Assist with occasional evening meal preparation (family-style cooking)
* Run household errands such as grocery shopping, dry cleaning, and household supplies management as required
* Carry out the school run 3 days per week (full, clean driving licence essential)
* Provide occasional pet care (feeding, walking, vet visits as required)
* Support with organisation of the household (tidying, managing cupboards, seasonal changes, etc.)
* Ensure discretion, confidentiality, and a professional manner at all times
Candidate Requirements:
* Previous experience as a private housekeeper in a similar role
* Excellent standards of cleaning and attention to detail
* Confident driver with a clean UK driving licence (car provided for work duties)
* Ability to cook simple, healthy family meals
* Comfortable with children and pets, with a proactive and supportive approach
* Highly organised, trustworthy, and flexible to adapt to family needs
* Able to work occasional Saturdays with a day off in lieu during the week
