You will be working at HM Prison Swinfen Hall for a facilities management and maintenancepany. Thispany ensures that all maintenance projects throughout the prison arepleted to a high standard. The position involves working part-time – 15 hours per week.
Your new role
Your new job will be temporary to permanent based on performance. You will be carrying out planned and reactive maintenance. Some of the responsibilities will include installing and maintaining heating systems, repairing sanitation systems, fitting appliances and emergency repairs. All tools and materials will be provided, and you will be working 2 days per week.
What you'll need to succeed
4 year minimum apprenticeship/qualification period. You will need to be able to pass an enhanced vetting procedure to be considered for this role.
What you'll get in return
You will be paid £18 per hour, plus any overtime rates if you work weekends. This will be paid on a weekly basis. If you're successful in the role, there may be opportunities to continue with this role either in the same or a different establishment.
