Key Responsibilities
* Lead and supervise Residential Support Workers to provide outstanding, person-centred care.
* Manage medication safely and oversee health-related needs.
* Deputise for the Registered Manager, ensuring smooth daily operations.
* Implement, monitor, and review individual care plans.
* Build and maintain positive relationships with young people, families, and external professionals.
* Contribute to service improvement through audits, quality assurance, and team development.
Essential Requirements
* Level 3 Diploma for Residential Childcare (CYP QCF/NVQ) – this is a must-have qualification.
* Previous supervisory or leadership experience within a children’s residential setting.
* Knowledge of safeguarding, behaviour management, and care planning.
* Full UK driving license desirable but not essential
* Flexible and reliable, with the ability to work varied shifts including weekends and bank holidays.
