Responsibilities
You will be responsible for taking a driving role in serving Britain’s shoppers a little better every day. You will:
* Maximise sales, impact and presentation for your department, while ensuring everything is safe and compliant and that colleagues are in the right place at the right time.
* Lead from the front on the store floor with colleagues and customers.
* Grow your own team by spotting talent and giving them the feedback and support they need to be their best.
* Be a role model, helping colleagues know and love Tesco products and services, involving everyone in community projects, and building a network of relationships beyond the store.
* Inspire and coach your team to deliver high standards and great customer service.
You will need to
* Have the attitude, aptitude and aspiration to be a great retail manager.
* Be committed to putting people at the heart of everything you do.
* Be able to communicate effectively, share ideas and promote best practices.
* Build a strong team spirit and a network of relationships that extends beyond the store.
