Teaching Assistant – Year 5 SEMH Support
Location: Lytham St Annes
Start Date: After February Half Term
Contract: Full-time
Teaching Personnel are seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant to provide dedicated 1:1 support for a child in Year 5 with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs at a welcoming primary school in Lytham St Annes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver tailored support to help the child access learning and manage emotional regulation.
* Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement strategies and interventions.
* Promote positive behaviour and build strong, trusting relationships.
Requirements:
* Previous experience supporting children with SEMH needs (essential).
* Ability to remain calm, patient, and consistent in challenging situations.
* Strong communication skills and a nurturing approach.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
