TMM Recruitment are supporting several temporary Accounts Payable Assistant roles, with varying contract lengths, up to 12 months. As an Accounts Payable Assistant, you will support the Finance Team with tasks such as processing invoices, assisting with payment runs, and dealing with supplier queries. Previous experience within AP is required for these roles.
Main duties and responsibilities:
* Processing a high volume of supplier invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
* Matching and coding invoices to purchase orders.
* Reconciling supplier statements and resolving discrepancies promptly.
* Preparing and processing weekly/monthly payment runs.
* Maintaining accurate and up-to-date supplier records.
* Handling supplier queries via phone and email, maintaining good relationships.
* Assisting with month-end close procedures including accruals and reporting.
* Ensuring compliance with company policies.
* Providing general administrative support to the Finance Team as needed.
Applicants to this role require:
* Previous relevant experience within a similar Accounts Payable role.
* Ability to begin a role at short notice.
* Excellent attention to detail.
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Experience within accounting ERP systems.
* Ability to prioritise workload, meeting deadlines whilst ensuring accuracy.
