We are looking for caring and resilient SEN Teaching Assistants to join schools in Sheffields S7 area. Youll support children with additional educational needs and play a vital role in helping them thrive inside and outside the classroom.
The Role
* Deliver one:to:one and small group support for pupils with autism, ADHD, and speech and language needs.
* Assist class teachers in adapting lessons and resources.
* Celebrate childrens achievements while promoting confidence and independence.
* Build positive relationships with pupils, parents and staff.
* Help create inclusive and engaging classrooms.
Requirements
* Experience in schools, youth work or care settings would be an advantage.
* Empathy, resilience and a patient approach.
* Strong communication skills.
* Possess an Enhanced child DBS or willingness to get one through Randstad.
* Eligible to work in the UK without any restrictions.
* GCSEs in English and Maths (or equivalent).
* Commitment to supporting every child.
