About the Role
As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will:
Support students with a range of additional needs, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and learning difficulties.
Work closely with teachers and the SENCO to deliver tailored support both in and out of the classroom.
Help create a positive, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment where every pupil can thrive.
Assist with differentiated learning activities and promote independence and engagement.
What We’re Looking For
Experience supporting young people with SEND in a school or similar setting (essential).
A patient, caring, and resilient nature.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
A relevant qualification (e.g., Level 2/3 TA, CACHE, or equivalent) is desirable but not essential.
DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).
