We're seeking a seasoned expert in health, safety and environmental management to join our team as a Health Safety Environment Advisor. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about maintaining exceptional standards across the board.
About the Role
You'll play a pivotal role in shaping and supporting our health, safety and environmental systems, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations. Your expertise will help maintain a safe, sustainable and compliant workplace across our operations, both locally and globally.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide authoritative advice on HSE matters and manage HSE management systems, including risk assessments, COSHH registers, policies and procedures.
* Support CDM activities at construction sites and conduct regular inspections, maintaining up-to-date records.
* Deliver HSE training and raise awareness of policy updates and best practices.
* Prepare monthly/quarterly reports and assist with ad-hoc reporting.
* Maintain your own CPD and support wider HSEQ initiatives as required.
What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate will have a minimum 2 years' experience in a full-time HSE role within a manufacturing setting and hold relevant qualifications such as the NEBOSH General Certificate / Environmental Certificate and ISO 14001 auditing certification.
A strong communicator with solid organisational and reporting skills is essential, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Forms and Excel. A full UK Driving Licence and willingness to travel overseas are also necessary.
