Job Title: Biomass Boiler Engineer – Maintenance department
Environment: Manufacturing
Location: Port Talbot
Salary: £38,708 to £42,708 + OT = earnings of £46,000 and upwards achievable
Overtime rates: x1.5 Monday-Saturday and x2 Sunday
Holidays & Benefits: 23 days rising to 25 days holiday + 8 bank holidays, Pension matched up to 6%, company sick pay, Life assurance x3 of salary
Overview:
Working for a company with manufacturing facilities located across the globe. Due to continued investment to become a greener, more energy efficient site, we now require a Biomass Boiler Engineer to help maintain the plants boilers. You will be working within modern manufacturing facilities for a business that can offer true job security due to the products that they manufacture.
Key responsibilities of the Biomass Boiler Engineer role:
* To maintain service and repair all boilers associated to the plant.
* Provide technical support on all projects, installations and breakdowns
* PPM’s
The ideal candidate / Biomass Boiler Engineer may have some of the following, however, please note these are only desirable and not essential as all applications will be looked at individually:
* Time served, apprentice trained or above
* Previous experience working with boilers – gas / biomass.
* An electrical understanding changing like for like parts and basic fault finding would be beneficial if you do not have electrical certifications.
