Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)
Location: Braintree, Essex
We are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to work in schools across Braintree, on either a day-to-day or long-term basis.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident HLTA who enjoys supporting pupils’ learning and working closely with teaching staff.
The Role:
1. Deliver planned lessons in the absence of the class teacher
2. Support learning across a range of year groups
3. Work with small groups and on a 1:1 basis
4. Assist with assessment and pupil progress
5. Support classroom behaviour and engagement
Requirements:
6. HLTA qualification or equivalent experience
7. Previous experience working in a UK school setting
8. Strong behaviour management skills
9. Flexible, proactive, and reliable approach
10. Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
