Maths Teacher for a Secondary SEMH provision
We are currently looking for a passionate and supportive Maths Teacher to join an all boys secondary SEMH school in Colchester. This is a full-time role starting in September.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality maths lessons to students across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.
* Use innovative and effective teaching strategies to engage students and enhance their understanding of mathematics.
* Assess, monitor, and report on student progress, providing feedback to students and parents as required.
* Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters a love of learning and encourages student participation.
* Collaborate with colleagues and participate in departmental and staff meetings.
* Contribute to the development and implementation of the maths curriculum.
* Uphold the school's values and policies, promoting a safe and supportive learning environment.

Qualifications and Experience:
* A degree in Mathematics or a related field.
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Previous experience teaching maths at the secondary level.
* Strong subject knowledge and a passion for mathematics.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities.

Pay rates include statutory holiday pay. This position is temporary, with potential for permanent placement later.
