Job Title: Asbestos Site Analyst
Location: Manchester, North West.
Salary / Benefits: £22k – £34k + Training + Benefits
Level of Experience: Trainee Asbestos Site Analyst through to Lead Asbestos Site Analyst
Profile: A multi-discipline and reputable UKAS accredited Environmental Consultancy with a national presence, are now seeking to recruit a P403 / P404 qualified Asbestos Site Analyst based in and around the Manchester area. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in carrying out analytical tasks such as; 4 stage clearances, personal air testing and issuing certificated for re‑occupation, across Local Authority, Industrial, Healthcare and Commercial sites. Consideration will also be given to candidates who hold the P402, P403 and P404 qualifications. Applications will be considered from: Rochdale, Oldham, Bury, Bolton, Stockport, Stretford, Warrington, St Helens, Leigh, Wigan, Chorley, Blackburn, Preston, Huddersfield, Halifax, Bradford, Leeds, Wakefield, Pontefract, Keighley.
Qualifications
* Will hold a minimum of the BOHS P403 / P404 or RSPH equivalent qualification.
* Extensive experience working for an established Asbestos company.
* Must have excellent communication skills.
* Will be well‑versed within relevant Health and Safety / HSG 248 guidelines.
* Will be competent in using PDA / TRACKER / TEAMS systems.
* Interested candidates also with p401/p402/p403/p404/p404 or S301/CCP.
Responsibilities
* Carrying out 4 stage clearances, smoke, background, leak, reassurance, visual, re-occupation and personal air testing on a mixed portfolio of sites.
* Using PDA / Tablet systems to complete job sheets.
* Liaising with Licenced Asbestos Removal contractors and ensuring that all work is being carried out in line with relevant Health and Safety HSG 248 guidelines.
* Issuing certificates of re-occupation.
* Undertaking on-site audits in line with client needs.
* Building and maintaining an excellent working relationship with clients.
