Job Description:
Senior Sales & Revenue Coordinator, Sheffield. £NEG. Full service hotel with busy M&E, weddings and leisure. Supported by the GM and Group Revenue Manager. Established hotel group with strong reputation in the local market.
As Senior Sales & Revenue Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting the commercial success of the hotel, working across sales, revenue, and reservations to maximise performance and guest satisfaction.
1. Assist in the development and execution of the hotel’s Sales & Marketing Plan, including supporting and hosting monthly HOD meetings
2. Support the overall running of the sales office, maintaining a clear weekly overview of activity and performance
3. Manage bookings and events to maximise sales, occupancy, rate, and profitability, particularly across Meetings & Events
4. To effectively manage the hotels rate strategy, identifying possible gaps in markets and where possible to yield rate
5. Conduct telesales, client meetings, networking events, and face-to-face sales calls
6. Host agent visits and represent the hotel to local and brand partners
7. Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts to drive repeat business
8. Manage corporate accounts, including contract loading via Accor brand systems and quarterly client reviews
9. Promote upselling opportunities across all hotel services
10. Maintain accurate records of sales activity and client communication
11. Support marketing campaigns, promotions, and digital initiatives
Revenue Management Support
12. Assist the Revenue Manager and General Manager with rate management based on demand and competitor analysis
13. Support forecasting, budgeting, and performance analysis to achieve revenue targets
14. Ensure pricing strategies are accurately implemented across all systems
15. Monitor competitor activity and market trends
16. Manage OTA availability, including closing out channels where required
Reservations Oversight
17. Oversee daily reservations to optimise availability and inventory
18. Assist with group bookings, allocations, and individual reservations
19. Ensure accuracy and high standards of guest service across all booking channels
20. Work closely with the front office team to ensure seamless guest journeys
