Quality Engineer (Manufacturing Background) £30,000 - £40,000 + Training + Career Progression Hyde
Are you a Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineer from a manufacturing industry experience, looking to develop your career into Quality Engineering within a specialist manufacturing environment?

This is an opportunity to join a leading manufacturer of bolts and pipeline commodities supplying global markets from a 24/7 production facility. With almost 50 years of experience, the company focuses on high-quality production, compliance with industry standards, and continuous improvement.
In this role, you will support the Quality function across all stages of production from customer purchase order through to final dispatch developing your knowledge of quality systems, inspection processes, and manufacturing compliance.
This role is suited to someone with 2-3 years' experience in a mechanical or manufacturing engineering environment who is looking to move into Quality Engineering.
The Role:
* Support and maintain Quality Management Systems in line with ISO 9001:2015, API Q1, and company procedures.
* Identify, investigate, and resolve quality issues, including non-conformances, RCA, and CAPA activities.
* Carry out in-process and final inspections, ensuring compliance with specifications and full material traceability.
* Maintain quality documentation and support audits, inspections, and continuous improvement initiatives.
The Person:
* 2-3 years' experience within a mechanical, manufacturing, or engineering environment.
* Strong engineering/manufacturing background with understanding of manufacturing processes and engineering drawings.
* Familiarity with inspection tools and quality assurance processes.
* Commutable to Hyde
