JOB- Graduate Mechanical Engineer
LOCATION- Stowmarket
TERM- Permanent
SALARY- £28,000 per annum
Premier Engineering is working with a reputable engineering and manufacturing company based in Stowmarket, who are looking to recruit a Graduate Mechanical Engineer to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate to kick-start their career and gain hands-on experience across various stages of the engineering process.
The Graduate Mechanical Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:
* A degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline (BEng, MEng, etc.)
* Solid understanding of engineering principles and design fundamentals
* Experience using CAD software (such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or Inventor)
* Willingness to learn and develop professionally within a hands-on environment
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Good problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach
* An interest in working in a manufacturing or product development environment
The Graduate Mechanical Engineer role will involve:
* Supporting the engineering team in design and development of mechanical components and systems
* Producing and modifying CAD models and engineering drawings
* Assisting with prototype builds, testing and data analysis
* Contributing to product improvement and continuous development projects
* Working closely with production, quality, and procurement teams
* Gaining experience across the full product lifecycle
