We are seeking an experienced senior leader to take on the pivotal role of Responsible Individual / Service Manager. This is an opportunity to oversee multiple children's homes specialising in Emotional & Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) and Learning Disabilities, while shaping services and driving quality across a thriving care group.
The Role
As Responsible Individual and Service Manager, you will:
* Take full operational responsibility for a cluster of children's homes, ensuring outstanding care, safeguarding, and regulatory compliance.
* Provide direct support, mentorship, and appraisals for Registered Managers, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
* Oversee governance, quality assurance, and performance frameworks to deliver positive outcomes for children and young people.
* Lead the setup and registration of new homes, including staff recruitment and embedding therapeutic care models.
* Maintain regular oversight of OFSTED standards and prepare services for inspections.
* Report to the Board on service performance, growth plans, and regulatory matters.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for a passionate and committed leader who can inspire teams and champion best practice. You will have:
* A proven track record of leadership across multiple children's homes, ideally with experience in EBD and/or Learning Disabilities.
* A Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
* Eligibility and readiness to be named as Responsible Individual with OFSTED.
* Strong safeguarding, compliance, and regulatory knowledge.
* Excellent communication, organisational and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and develop managers and staff.
* A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across services.
