Our client is a global leader within footcare products. They are seeking an Assistant Product Development Manager to ensure delivery of new and existing product innovations and growth for the global business.
The role will focus on the aid portfolio which includes medical devices, licensed medicines and cosmetics.
The Role
• Technical project lead for designated range of projects, ensuring such projects are executed to the correct required standards.
• Take ownership and drive tasks assigned to you, ensuring project milestones are delivered on time and to plan.
• Ensure efficient project planning is conducted and communicated to manager.
• Authoring of project documentation including FMEA, design control and risk management documentation to ensure it is completed to the required standards.
• Responsibility for ensuring all required feasibility, formulation, analysis, stability testing, industrial trials, technical file preparation and dossier work are authored on time and to the required standards.
• Support the team with respect to required activities that support Product Development across the business (audit preparations, maintenance activities etc.).
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of compliance and efficiency within the team.
• To stand in for more senior members of staff and assist in any other duties seen fit by the business/ line manager.
The Requirements
• Relevant experience I product development
• Educated to Degree level (Chemistry, pharmacy, chemical engineering, or other relevant science
• Familiarity with Product Development documentation including creation and maintenance of product technical files / dossiers.
• Strong motivational and interpersonal skills
• Results orientated, self-motivated with an ability to evaluate risks
• Strong technical skills with the ability to think beyond the problem
• Openness to change and ability to think out of the box
