Role: Senior Quantity Surveyor – MEP (Data Centres) Location: Potters Bar, Hertfordshire) Type: Full-time | Permanent | On-site Salary: £90,000 - £100,000 We’re working with a specialist contractor delivering MEP packages into data centre environments across the UK and Europe. They’re looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a growing commercial team, supporting delivery from tender through to final account across technically complex projects. What you’ll be doing Managing the full commercial lifecycle of MEP packages (£1m–£50m) Working closely with project teams to manage cost, risk, and contract performance Procuring subcontractors and managing tenders, negotiations, and appointments Handling valuations, variations, and change control Producing cost reports, forecasts, and final accounts Supporting commercial strategy and mentoring junior QSs where needed Liaising with clients, consultants, and supply chain What you’ll need 5–10 years’ experience in Quantity Surveying (MEP-focused) Experience on data centres or other mission-critical projects (pharma, healthcare etc.) Strong knowledge of NEC and/or JCT contracts Solid procurement and subcontract management experience Able to manage multiple packages in a fast-paced environment Willingness to travel to sites where required What’s in it for you Join a business scaling quickly in the data centre sector Clear progression to Managing QS / Commercial Manager Strong package including car allowance, bonus, and travel Exposure to large, complex MEP projects
