Overview
The successful Spa Manager will: offer various treatments such as massage, manicures and beauty treatments; promote treatments and products; ensure the department operates efficiently by closely monitoring budgets and staff in accordance with guidance from the General Manager; complete staff rotas taking into account staff holidays, bookings and budgets; take bookings over the telephone and in person; upsell beauty products where appropriate; ensure client confidentiality policies are followed amongst the team; monitor and order stock to ensure correct levels within the spa.
Responsibilities
* Offer treatments and beauty services as part of spa operations.
* Promote treatments and products to clients.
* Monitor budgets, staff levels and productivity in line with General Manager guidance.
* Prepare and manage staff rotas, considering holidays, bookings and budgets.
* Take bookings via telephone and in person.
* Upsell beauty products where appropriate.
* Maintain client confidentiality and data protection within the team.
* Monitor stock levels and place orders to ensure spa supplies are adequately stocked.
Qualifications
* NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Beauty Therapy (essential).
* Previous salon experience is desired.
* Right to live and work in the UK.
* A driving licence and the ability to drive is an advantage for travel to and from the resort.
