Job Summary Responsible for the day-to-day management and execution of security operations across Universal Destinations & Experiences (UDX), including uniformed security, and contract security. Provides leadership across all shifts, ensuring a safe and secure environment for guests, team members, and company assets. Supports the implementation of security strategies aligned with UDX global standards and UK regulatory requirements. Oversees control room operations, incident response, and frontline deployment, while serving as a key liaison with law enforcement, emergency services, and third-party partners. Ensures security operations are delivered effectively while maintaining a positive, guest-focused experience. Major Responsibilities Manages daily security operations across UDX, including uniformed officers and third-party security providers. Oversees staffing plans, scheduling, and deployment strategies to ensure appropriate coverage across all operating periods, including peak attendance, special events, and non-operational hours. Leads, coaches, and develops security leadership and front-line team members. Manages hiring, onboarding, training validation, and performance management processes. Conducts regular operational audits to identify training and performance gaps and implements corrective actions. Leads real-time incident response and supports resort-wide emergency planning and exercises. Acts as duty manager when assigned, responding to escalated incidents, operational disruptions, and emergency situations while coordinating cross-functional response efforts. Oversees access control, screening, and search procedures. Ensures compliance with UK legislation including SIA licensing, Protect Duty (Martyn's Law), and applicable regulatory frameworks. Reviews incident reports, guest feedback, and operational data to identify trends and drive continuous improvement. Serves as liaison with UK law enforcement, emergency services, and security vendors. Coordinates intelligence sharing, incident response, and security planning efforts. Supports security requirements for special events, entertainment operations, and high-profile activities. Supports planning and execution of security operations for events and peak periods, including ingress/egress and crowd management strategies. Ensures security presence supports a safe, welcoming, and guest-focused environment while maintaining operational efficiency. Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UDX policy, procedures, training, and team member involvement activities. Perform other duties as assigned. Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice or a related security field preferred. Experience in security, law enforcement (or related field), including supervisory or leadership experience in a comparable environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must be in possession or capable of attaining a recognised UK or internationally recognised security accreditation. Must be able to satisfy the UK home office requirements to work in the UK. Must be in possession of a clean driving license acceptable in the UK. Must be able to provide a clear enhanced DBS. SIA licensing and/or relevant security certifications required. Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills. Experience managing security operations in a large public venue, theme park, or similar environment. Knowledge of UK security practices, threat landscape, and public venue safety requirements. Experience operating CCTV, access control, and security systems. Strong problem-solving, organszational, and interpersonal skills. High level of computer literacy and the ability to analyse security reports, operational data, and performance metrics in a timely manner. Must be available to respond to emergencies or incidents 24/7. Works a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, holidays, and non-operating days. Serves in a duty manager capacity as required.
