This is an exciting time to be joining the Active Wellbeing Team as part of the wider Community Team at Havant Borough Council.
As an ambitious and innovative team, we aim to create accessible environments for residents to lead physically active, healthy lives by developing sustainable services, infrastructure, and partnerships.
Responsibilities
* Provide exemplary administration support in the co‑ordination of projects and partnerships that seek to support residents who face the greatest health inequalities to be more physically active.
* Respond to enquiries through the council’s various access channels, handling requests and performing administration tasks to support delivery of projects such as the Get up and Go programme.
* Provide a considerate and understanding service throughout the customer journey from initial enquiry through to activity attendance and retention.
* Administer and support various partnerships and contract monitoring for sport, physical activity, leisure, and recreational projects and facilities.
* Effectively communicate with a range of people through a range of channels, maintaining a strong customer focus, attention to detail, and enthusiasm to support projects that positively impact people’s behaviour.
Qualifications
* Proactive person with experience in administration.
* Experience working with communities and/or public sector partners.
* Strong organisational and communication skills.
* Ability to manage competing priorities.
* Confidence using Microsoft Office and various online tools.
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a small team.
