Your leadership and organizational skills will ensure the safe, efficient, and timely handling of aircrafts on the ground. You will demonstrate confident leadership and coaching skills with the ability to understand the objectives of the role and have a plan on how to achieve them with your team in a safe, secure and professional manner, ensuring each team member performs to their maximum potential, offering guidance throughout. You will be responsible for the loading, unloading and baggage product of the aircraft and completion of all documentation, ensuring baggage is handled safely and effectively and within all airlines Standard Operating Procedures. You will also demonstrate great awareness and attention to details in regards of health, safety and security and ensure Equipment Care (especially EBT charging) to maximise equipment availability. Our team supervisors have the task to maintain the integrity of the accident area in the event of personal and vehicle accidents and undertake any other duties as required by management, commensurate with the grade of the post and promote at all times the Vision, Mission, Values of one dnata.
Job Requirements

* Comply with all company procedures and instructions and act on instructions from Ramp Manager as necessary
Responsibilities
* Monitoring staff levels ensuring best utilisation of staff on shift and ensure SLA is met for all carriers
* Monitoring GSE levels ensuring best utilisation of GSE during shift and ensure SLA is met for all carriers
* Overseeing the completion and planning of worksheets, ensuring accuracy of staff levels within the department
* Completion of relevant paperwork relating to staff lateness and absence
* Communicate with SDM relation to any known issues that could impact the smooth running of operation
* Oversee the day to day GSE maintenance programme
* Management of Capita attendance system in relation to attendance and performance monitoring
* Ensure staff are compliant with company procedures and the Company handbook and contracts of employment
* Attendance of any relevant meetings within the business or station
* Assisting the Ramp Manager with employee relation issues and auditing staff performance
* Establishing and maintaining good relationships with staff, passengers and third party customers
* Oversee the efficient running of the operation and accounting for and explaining controllable station delays
* Completion of training or briefings regarding relevant station and operational topics
* Act as Incident Controller in Emergency Response Procedure in event of an incident
* Ensure Health and Safety within the department
* Maintain a polite and efficient telephone manner when dealing with queries or matters amongst staff and customers or subcontractors
* To undertake any other duties as required by management, commensurate with the grade of the post
* Promote at all times the Vision, Mission, Values of dnata
Desirable Experience
* Working knowledge of airside aircraft handling environment, baggage handling processes and procedures, aircraft loading and in plane systems, towing and pushback requirements
* Customer product knowledge
* High levels of proficiency in airport operations
* Safety procedures
* Proficient in all aspects of turnaround and baggage process
* Driving licence (full UK)
