Disability Assessor – Adult Disability AssessmentsLocation: Chatham (Hybrid – Remote & Site Based)Contract: Full-Time or Part-Time | PermanentStart Dates: November 2025 & January 2026The Role – What You’ll Do As a Disability Assessor, you’ll carry out functional health assessments for adults with long-term conditions, disabilities, or mental health challenges.You’ll focus on understanding how their condition affects daily living, not on diagnosis or treatment.Key Responsibilities:Conduct adult-only assessments via telephone, video, and face-to-face (approx. 70% remote)Review medical evidence and complete structured, evidence-based reportsAssess a wide range of physical, cognitive, and mental health conditionsProduce clear, impartial clinical reports to support DWP benefit decisionsWork autonomously with access to dedicated clinical supportGain full diary control and increased flexibility after 6 monthsWho We’re Looking For This role is open to experienced, adult-focused clinicians with current registration as:Registered General Nurse (RGN)Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN)Learning Disability Nurse (RNLD)PhysiotherapistOccupational TherapistParamedicEssential Requirements:Minimum 12 months’ post-registration experience (adult settings)At least one full year of UK-based clinical practice post-registrationCurrent registration with NMC or HCPCStrong clinical reasoning and report-writing skillsSolid IT literacy and ability to work independentlyAbility to commute to Chatham (or nearby areas) for face-to-face assessmentsRight to work in the UK — unfortunately, we are unable to offer visa sponsorship for these rolesWhat You’ll Receive Salary: £39,500 – £41,500 per annumPerformance Bonus: Up to 10% annuallyWorking Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am–5:00pmNo evenings, weekends, or bank holidaysBenefits include:33 days’ annual leave (including bank holidays)Private healthcare and pension schemeFully funded CPD & revalidation supportAccredited, RCN-approved training programmeFree in-house physiotherapy servicesCareer development and clear progression routesFlexible hybrid working with full diary control after 6 monthsImportant Note – Upcoming Start Dates If you wish to join the November 2025 course intake and have a notice period, please get in touch as soon as possible so we can fast-track your application.Why Choose This Role?
