Job Title: Attendance Officer
Location: Northampton
Contract: Part-Time, Term Time Only (15hrs pw)
Salary: £130 - 135pd Pro Rata'd
About the Role:
We are seeking a proactive and organised Attendance Officer to join our team and play a key role in promoting excellent attendance and punctuality across the academy. The successful candidate will monitor daily attendance, liaise with parents and staff, and ensure all attendance data is accurate and up to date.
Key Responsibilities:
* Monitor and maintain attendance records on Classcharts and Arbor.
* Conduct first-day absence calls and follow up on unexplained absences.
* Work closely with staff, parents, and the safeguarding team to address attendance issues.
* Produce weekly attendance reports and identify patterns of concern.
* Support initiatives to promote good attendance and punctuality.
* Provide administrative and first aid support as required.
* Ensure compliance with safeguarding and data protection standards.
About You:
* Excellent communication and organisational skills.
* Strong IT skills, particularly with Classcharts and Arbor (training provided if required).
* Ability to work collaboratively and maintain confidentiality.
* Experience in a school or administrative environment is desirable.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
