Responsibilities
* Full PU Bill of Material (BoM) ownership and maintenance
* Entire PU demand creation and management across multiple projects/programmes
* Bespoke planning strategies for long lead-time and complex components
* Monitoring of material budget adherence, balancing specification change against budget control
* Test planning, including deadline adherence to the overall Programme Plan
* Processing of Engineering Change Notifications
* Product kitting and Build Request amendments
A strategic parts management role that ensures alignment across Engineering, Programme Management, Manufacturing and Procurement. This opportunity is intrinsically interlinked with our Delivery team who focus on ensuring that the supply chain delivers to the agreed plan and that products are tested ahead of the agreed deadline.
Programme Management and Skills
* Development of project management skills within a fast-moving F1 environment
* Gaining experience with our bespoke Product LifeCycle (PLC) software, SAP, TeamCentre and Microsoft applications
* Opportunities to gain experience in sub-areas of Programme Management:
* V6 Product: align Engineering releases to Power Unit specifications, from Performance Demonstrators to Track Test and Race PUs
* ERS Product: Energy Recovery System with longer timescales and lifecycle considerations
* Development: support testing programmes with hardware build resource and test cell planning

What we need from you
* A curious, tenacious and driven individual with a hunger to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
* On track to achieve a 2.1 degree or above in a relevant Engineering, Science, Technology or Business subject
* A strong academic background in relevant A Level disciplines (e.g., business studies, economics, maths or sciences, or equivalent)
* Excellent organisation and the ability to manage periods of high workload with calm prioritisation
* Desire and enthusiasm to deliver innovative solutions with a methodical, professional approach
* Ability to work independently and take accountability
* Confident and adaptable communication style
* Willingness to go the extra mile to help the team succeed
