About the Job:
This role offers an exciting opportunity for ambitious (starting) salespeople.
The Inside Sales Partner Account Manager Cloud is responsible for achieving quarterly and annual goals by managing a territory primarily through telephone and Web 2.0 technologies. The IPAM will build direct relationships with existing and new partners, focusing on major opportunities, and will work closely with and leverage channel partners to maximize revenue within the territory.
This role is ideal for candidates who enjoy selling, are achievement-oriented, and believe in performance rewards for exceeding sales goals through strong collaboration with partners and internal stakeholders. The ideal candidate is success-driven, fast-paced, works well in diverse teams, and thrives in a dynamic, changing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage an existing partner base
2. Recruit new partners within a territory
3. Position and sell NEC UNIVERGE BLUE Cloud Services via partners
4. Build communities within and between partners
5. Establish strong relationships and credibility with senior management and staff of partners
6. Manage sales readiness of partners to leverage NEC UNIVERGE BLUE portfolio
7. Understand both business partners and end-user cloud business to develop new opportunities
8. Report on strategic leads and sales opportunities
9. Ensure product, service, and pricing information is available and technical support is accessible
10. Execute lead generation and call program activities with partners
11. Use telephone and IT tools to remotely interface with partners and present value propositions
12. Coordinate with partners to facilitate sales processes
Skills / Experience Required:
* Minimum of 2 years of experience in Channel Management, preferably in a cloud services environment
* Experience in the communications business
* Experience managing end-users (preferred)
* Experience reviewing and analyzing partner requirements
* High creativity and marketplace awareness
* Understanding of cloud-based technology
* Strong motivational skills and proactive sales approach
* Experience with inside sales (highly preferred)
* Experience with online/digital marketing and advertising (preferred)
* Excellent communication and presentation skills
* Experience with SFDC (preferred)
* Bachelor’s degree or higher (preferred)
* Responsibility for quality and timelines
* Alignment of products, services, and performance with organizational goals
* Ability to build and maintain customer satisfaction (external and internal)
