MOT Tester - Ilkeston
1. Location: Ilkeston
2. Salary: £40,000 basic salary
3. Hours: Monday – Friday 8:00am – 5:30pm | Alternate Saturdays 8:30am – 12:30pm
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a MOT Tester to join a well-established and reputable automotive business in Ilkeston.
This is a MOT testing position with minimal servicing or repair work involved, making it ideal for somebody who enjoys focusing solely on MOT inspections and delivering accurate, high-quality work within a professional workshop environment.

Key Responsibilities as a MOT Tester:
11. Carry out MOT tests in line with DVSA regulations
12. Ensure all testing is completed accurately and efficiently
13. Maintain high standards of safety and compliance at all times
14. Complete MOT documentation and records correctly
15. Identify and report vehicle defects professionally
16. Work independently while maintaining workshop standards
Requirements that the MOT Tester will need:
17. Fully qualified MOT Tester with a valid DVSA licence
18. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
19. Reliable, punctual, and professional approach to work
20. Comfortable working independently in a busy MOT environment
21. Good understanding of DVSA testing standards and procedures
22. Full UK driving licence preferred
