Role: Childcare Solicitor
Location: Leicestershire - hybrid Umbrella Rate: £50 - £55ph PAYE Inc. Rate: £44.10 - £48.44ph Contract Length: 3 months ongoing
Key Responsibilities
* Provide advocacy and legal representation in the Magistrates' Court and County Court, and when suitably experienced, in the Family Division of the High Court.
* Advise officers, members, panels, and case conferences on matters relating to child protection and other children's services responsibilities.
* Handle your own Childcare Law caseload from start to completion.
About You
* Qualified Solicitor or Barrister with experience in childcare or family law (public sector experience desirable).
* Strong advocacy skills and the ability to manage sensitive and complex cases.
* Proven ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, multi‑disciplinary environment.
