SEND Teacher

Contract Type: Full Time, Part Time, Flexible Supply

Simply Education is seeking a Specialist Teacher to join our dedicated team, supporting pupils with Autism, Moderate to Severe Learning Difficulties, Speech, Language and Communication Needs, and behavioural challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver creative, multi-sensory lessons tailored to a wide range of learning needs
Support communication development using AAC, visual supports, and structured teaching approaches (e.g., TEACCH, PECS, Makaton)
Implement positive behaviour support strategies and work closely with behaviour specialists
Collaborate with therapists, support staff, and families to ensure a holistic approach to each learner's development
Create a safe, predictable and nurturing learning environmentIdeal Candidate:
Qualified teacher (QTS/QTLS) with experience in SEN/SEMH settings
Strong understanding of Autism, MSLD, and SLCN, and experience managing associated behavioural needs
Skilled in differentiating curriculum content and using specialist communication strategies
Resilient, reflective and deeply committed to pupil well-being and progress
Able to lead or work as part of a multidisciplinary teamWe Offer:
