We are seeking a caring, enthusiastic and committed Learning Support Assistant to join our inclusive and vibrant partner primary school in the heart of Hackney.
Working alongside class teachers and the SENCo as a Learning Support Assistant, you will support pupils’ learning, development and wellbeing, both in the classroom and through targeted small-group or one-to-one support. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in children’s lives.
The successful candidate will:
* Have experience working with children of primary school age (school-based experience desirable)
* Be patient, nurturing and positive, with high expectations for all pupils
* Support children with a range of learning needs, including SEND
* Work effectively as part of a team and communicate well with staff and parents
* Be committed to inclusion, safeguarding and promoting pupils’ independence
