Senior Panel Beater
Location: Ross on Wye, HerefordshireSalary: £52,000 - £61,000 per annum + Bonus Scheme
Monday - FridayOur client, a leading vehicle body repairer based in Leeds, Yorkshire, have an exciting opportunity for a Panel Beater. Offering an excellent working environment with a growing company.
Duties/Responsibilities:
* Assess damaged vehicles and determine the necessary repairs required.
* Utilise hand tools and power tools to remove dents, scratches, and other imperfections from vehicle panels.
* Assemble and disassemble vehicle components as needed for repairs.
* Weld panels together and perform metal shaping techniques to restore the vehicle's structure.
* Maintain a clean and organised workspace, ensuring all tools and equipment are in good working order.
* Follow schematics and technical drawings to ensure accurate repairs.
* Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding repair processes and timelines.
Candidate Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Panel Beater or in a similar role within the automotive industry.
* Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand schematics and technical drawings.
* Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment.
* Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during the repair process.
* Good customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
* ATA or equivalent
* Aluminum Manufacturers training for Land rover or Tesla or VW Group is desirable
