Production Planner

About the Role:
We are looking for a Production Planner to join our Product Development Team based at our site in Hoddesdon. In this new you will be responsible for the on-time delivery of clinical trial products to Clients by supporting Project Managers and operational teams in planning and scheduling drug product manufacture, risk identification and resolution and on time shipment of drug product to Clients.

Key roles and responsibilities:
4. Planning and scheduling of batch manufactures, co-ordinating raw material, equipment, room and resource availability to optimize manufacturing schedules to ensure on-time delivery of finished product to client expectations.
5. Co-ordinate raw material demands across the full project portfolio and work with peer functions to ensure on-time procurement, receipt and release testing.
6. Consolidate technical and equipment/change part requirements for batch manufactures and working with project managers and Manufacturing teams, ensure on-time readiness for product manufacture.
7. Co-ordinate sample delivery between plant and lab, room & equipment cleaning schedules to ensure on-time room & equipment turnaround and efficient sample delivery to AC labs
8. Support on-time dispatch of product samples and clinical trial product by co-ordinating shipment needs with Materials Management to ensure on-time readiness to ship.
9. Consolidate pass through costs across the project portfolio, working with Project Managers & Finance to facilitate timely and accurate invoicing.
Requirements:
10. Industrial experience in GMP pharmaceutical environment.
11. Previous experience working on project planning, departmental or functional resource, capacity planning or scheduling.
12. Knowledge or experience of pharmaceutical drug product development – oral solid dose products is desirable
13. Sound knowledge of regulatory and cGMP requirements pertaining to drug product
14. Ability to build and manage strong internal and external stakeholder relationships and the ability to manage 3rd party client expectations environment
15. Evidence of ability to effectively contribute to multi-disciplinary scientific teams
16. Strong project management skills with the ability to work cross functionally
17. Effective organizational, planning and time management skills
