To take the lead on all matters related to Corporation Tax across the SJP group. To support the Group Tax Director, ensuring we report and pay the right amount in line with the Tax strategy, policy, and practice for the Group.

What you'll be doing:

* Lead a team of Corporate Tax professionals (3 direct reports)
* Responsible for Corporation Tax compliance and regulatory requirements, including returns and payments to HMRC as prepared by team members for ultimate sign-off by the Group Tax Director
* Manage monthly, interim, and year-end reporting processes, including the tax contribution of the SJP funds and associated tax aspects of Solvency II reporting
* Oversee international tax matters, including Transfer Pricing documentation, CbCR requirements, Pillar Two requirements, and compliance in overseas jurisdictions
* Lead on Corporation Tax projects as required
* Stay updated on legislative changes in the UK and abroad to support the Group Tax Director in identifying relevant changes for the SJP Worldwide Group
* Serve as the main point of contact with external tax service providers (StateStreet, EY, Deloitte)
* Participate as a member of the Tax Committee on UK and overseas tax issues
* Contribute to the finance leadership group and Skills and Development SLT subgroup
* Bring strong corporation tax and industry experience, ideally within financial services
* Hold CTA, ACA, or ACCA qualification(s)
* Work collaboratively to meet tight deadlines
* Build rapport quickly with a diverse stakeholder group
