Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Facilities Manager to support the delivery of Healthcare services by assisting in the day to day management of teams, resources and operational processes working within a newly opened Community Diagnostic Unit.
The role will involve coordinating staff, monitoring performance and service standards, supporting patient‑focused initiatives and ensuring compliance with NHS policies and regulations. The Assistant Managers will work closely with the clinical and administrative teams to improve efficiency, maintain high quality care and help achieve organisational objectives within the busy healthcare setting.
Responsibilities
* Communicate with managers at all levels, staff, patients, visitors and other clients on issues relating to the efficient functioning of the Facilities Teams.
* Assist with allocation of pay and non‑pay costs to ensure control of budget, e.g., rota planning, stock ordering and stock control.
* Monitor service delivery through quality and performance indicators and proactively seek new ways of working to improve standards.
* Produce reports and other documents as required, including cleanliness monitoring and sickness reports/records.
* Provide service‑related advice, information or guidance to a range of contacts, including internal and external customers.
