Hooton Group Ltd is looking for a highly organised and confident Production & Aftersales Coordinator to join our growing bespoke glass manufacturing and distribution business.
This is a varied role that combines order processing, customer communication, production coordination and aftersales support. You’ll be responsible for helping ensure each order runs smoothly from the point it is placed online through to production and final delivery.
This role is primarily home-based, so we are looking for someone who is disciplined, self-motivated and able to work efficiently from home, while also attending our Sheffield office or warehousing facility on a weekly basis.
What you’ll be doing
* Managing orders placed online from point of order through to production and final delivery
* Producing and amending CAD drawings using pre-templated designs
* Sending information for glass cutting and processing
* Ordering hardware on a timely basis
* Preparing accurate paperwork for the warehouse team
* Communicating effectively with the warehouse team to ensure smooth throughput and efficient order fulfilment
* Generating manifests for courier collections
* Organising courier collections, local deliveries and delivery schedules
* Liaising with customers regarding orders, deliveries and aftersales enquiries
* Handling aftersales calls and email correspondence
* Chasing outstanding orders and updating customers on progress
* Resolving shortages, delivery issues and order discrepancies efficiently
* Maintaining clear and accurate records throughout the order process

* A proactive and problem-solving approach
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively
* Ability to work independently and as part of a wider team
* Previous experience in a similar role is preferred
* Experience producing and amending CAD drawings using pre-templated designs would be an advantage
