Hadleigh Community Primary School - Hadleigh, Suffolk IP7 5HQ £22,367 - £23,115 pro rata (£11.59 - £11.98 per hour) 15 hours per week, 38 weeks per year Permanent Reference: 5781 Required from September 2024 We are looking to appoint a committed Learning Support Assistant who will join the Lower KS2 team forming positive relationships with staff, pupils and parents and uphold the strong, caring ethos and inclusive environment of our friendly and popular school. The role involves supporting teaching and learning across years 3 and 4. The post is to work under the class teacher’s guidance and support the delivery of effective teaching, particularly during the morning maths and English lessons to enable all children to access the curriculum. Small group and one to one work will be a part of the role. Hours will be 15 hours per week, term time only, days and hours work to be agreed at interview You will be/have: experienced in working with children individually, in small groups or in the classroom passionate and committed to providing the best opportunities for our children good reading and writing skills (National qualification Grade C or equivalent) good numeracy skills (National qualification Grade C or equivalent) understanding and support the principles of inclusion for all pupils able to model excellent communication and interpersonal skills a good understanding of how children learn flexible and able to adapt to the needs of the children committed to raising standards able to liaise closely with teachers.
