MIG/TIG Welder – Leicester People Solutions are currently recruiting for a MIG/TIG Welder based in Leicester to join our client. Shifts • Monday to Thursday: 07:00–16:00 • Friday: 07:00–13:00 Rates of Pay • £17.00 per hour (depending on experience) Benefits • On-site car park • Kitchen area • Opportunity to progress your career Day-to-Day Duties • Perform MIG and TIG welding operations on various metal components • Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and welding specifications • Set up welding equipment and ensure correct settings for each job • Assemble and fabricate metal parts using welding techniques • Carry out quality inspections to ensure welds meet required standards • Maintain a clean and safe working area • Use hand tools and workshop equipment • Understand plans and job requirements • Prepare and cut required shapes and weld to structured plans • Operate welding units and related equipment Essential Skills • Physically fit (heavy lifting may be involved) • Ability to understand engineering drawings • Good level of spoken and written English • Ability to work independently or as part of a team • Minimum 6 months' experience in MIG and TIG welding • Must live local to the area • Own transport due to site location Training Provided • Training will be provided Apply If you are ready to take on this opportunity, apply today by clicking the link below or get in touch with our recruitment team to find out more.
