HR Assistant – Immediate Start
Location: Newquay, TR8
Pay Rate: £14.00 per hour + holiday pay
Hours: Monday to Friday, between 9:00am and 5:00pm
Start Date: ASAP - Temporary On-Going Contract
Weekly Pay: Every Friday
We're looking for an experienced Human Resources Assistant to join the team of a well-known and highly regarded hotel group based at their offices in Newquay.
This is an immediate-start opportunity for someone who enjoys getting stuck in and can confidently manage a busy workload. The team is heading into one of their busiest periods of the year, so they're looking for someone who can provide hands-on support from day one.
If you're organised, confident with HR systems and Excel, and enjoy a varied role where no two days are quite the same, we'd love to hear from you.
The Role
This varied role will involve a mix of HR administration and project-based work, with responsibilities including:
1. Supporting employee onboarding processes
2. Maintaining and updating HR databases and employee records
3. Producing reports and HR documentation
4. Assisting with HR projects and initiatives
5. Ensuring HR systems remain accurate and up to date
6. Providing general HR administrative support to the wider team
What We're Looking For
7. Previous HR experience is essential
8. Confident using Microsoft Excel, Word and HR systems
9. Strong administrative and organisational skills
10. Ability to work independently and manage priorities
11. A proactive approach with excellent attention to detail
12. Someone who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
