Hours: M-F, Week 1 (7am to 3pm), Week 2 (12pm to 8pm)
Pay rate: 12.97ph

About the Trust
NHS Property Services partner with customers to enable excellent patient care by acting as a trusted advisor to the NHS and by providing the best estate solutions. They manage 2,700 properties with 6,300 customers across England, which accounts for approximately 10% of the total NHS estate. Their properties range from listed buildings to new integrated care centres and include hospitals, GP practices and offices. Our 6,000 colleagues have expertise in every area of estates and facilities management within the NHS.
What you’ll be responsible for:
This role is broken down into three area: portering, cleaning and catering. You will be covering all three areas within your job role.
Key Responsibilities
· Working with domestics and other domestic supervisors you will ensure that all cleaning standards meet the requirements for the unit
· Maintain a daily environment and ensure that the unit is always safe and tidy
· Managing stock replenishment and ordering of provisions
· Promote a safe work environment for all staff and patients
· Assist with health and safety audits and work with the fire officer to ensure the unit complies to safety standards
Requirements
· Full UK driving licence
· City and Guilds Level 2 Cleaning and Support Services or equivalent demonstrable experience
· Experience of supervising domestic services people·
· Previous experience in hospitality, hotels, or domestic services desirable
· Good IT skills
· Good communicator who can follow instructions
· Able bodied – this role is very physical
· Previous administration or office experience
· Excellent telephone manner
· Good understanding of Microsoft office
· Computer literate
· Excellent communicator
