Job Summary: To lead and manage the Electrical, Electronics and Software Engineering function, ensuring the delivery of innovative, high-quality solutions across product development, systems integration, and engineering operations. The role will drive strategic direction, technical excellence, and cross‑disciplinary collaboration.
Role
* Lead and develop a multidisciplinary team of electrical, control systems, and software engineers.
* Oversee the design, development, and integration of electrical systems, embedded electronics, and software platforms.
* Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and quality assurance processes.
* Manage budgets, resources, and timelines for engineering projects.
* Collaborate with other departments (e.g., Mechanical Engineering, Product Management, Operations) to align engineering outputs with business goals.
* Ensure design processes are of suitable standard for today's applications.
* Ensure proper control and release of all SW versions internally & externally.
* Drive innovation and continuous improvement in engineering practices and technologies.
* Represent the engineering function in senior leadership meetings and external engagements.
Requirements
* Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Science or related field. Chartered Engineer status or equivalent.
* Minimum 10 years in electrical/electronic/software engineering.
* Proven leadership in multidisciplinary teams.
* Experience in embedded systems and software development.
* Expertise in electrical systems, embedded electronics, and software architecture.
* Strong understanding of safety‑critical systems.
* Project and budget management.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement.
